Free Resources for content developers and designers
There are lots of resources out there and it can be hard to know where to start. Sometimes we might just need to bite the bullet and purchase some content to fill a much needed requirement.
For some of us we may not have the luxury of organisational stock photography budgets so we need to scrounge the internet for free or cheap resources without impacting the quality of our work.
I put this list together and am constantly updating and adding to it based on suggestions from students and industry peers. Please feel free to share any other resources that you may have come across.
There may be some overlaps, and some of the tools will have paid plans to open up functionality within the tool.

Finding quality assets (images, sound effects, video, etc.) to use in your eLearning course is one of the most important and potentially daunting aspects of developing. Everyone should know by now, that you can’t just pull an image off of a Google image search and use it.
