Media Content
Creating content that sits inside our learning solutions is a major part of the building process. Along with developing the eLearning modules using an authoring tool, creating the individual learning objects requires planning, designing and a range of tools to bring these objects to life.
What can these objects look like? Well pretty much any type of online content can be used to deliver information to our learners, from video to audio, images to specialised content using a specific type of content creation tool, like H5P.
CREATE, SHARE AND REUSE INTERACTIVE HTML5 CONTENT IN YOUR BROWSER
H5P is a plugin for existing publishing systems that enables the system to create interactive content like Interactive Videos, Presentations, Games, Quizzes and more!
We’ll highlight some of the more common types of content objects here. We dive in deeper to the building and delivering in Module 3 of the eLearning Masterclass where we get you to build some content for the online induction project we are planning in this module.
Multimedia
Multimedia is a term that can be bantered around to describe a combination of different media types to create a digital experience. These different media types can include images, audio, text, animations, interactive content and video. The term “multimedia” is not used as much in the consultative process as it was in the past. Vendors tend to focus on specific requirements and skill-sets as “multimedia” can be ambiguous.
